A canvas I did for a friend. It was my first real go on canvas; the rough texture was hard to work with at first but you get used to it.
I always feel so powerless by the sea. When you get out on the water ,whether it be on a board, boat or nothing but your own body , there is always that crushing feeling of powerlessness.
To be at the mercy of the ocean is exhilarating yet humbling, the crashing waves make you realise how little you matter, how insignificant your problems can be.
The danger is real yet, like so many things, it is worth the risk; you can never live without death stalking you.
